Crappie were on the banks 2 weeks ago. I'd imagine the water level will be coming up and up.
What’s the latest fishing report at the LOTO?? I’m going down this weekend and fishing Friday night and most of Saturday at the 21 mile marker on the Grand Glaize.
Please let let me know if any of you have any reports or input for me.
I was told a lot of Crappie are on the Banks which is what I like to hear!!!

I know some were on the banks two weeks ago, especially in shallower areas of the Lake(ie The Niagua). But I have heard that in some of the deepest sections of the Lake(Grand Glaize and Near the Dam) that they have recently just started to settle on the Banks. Maybe I am just being hopeful. . Classic fisherman I guess hoping for the best.
They were not on the banks near the Hwy 5 bridge, Niangua arm last weekend. Caught males behind docks, 5’ water, females were out front in 10-15’. Eggs were bloody and looked ready, some males were just starting to turn black. Caught a lot of fish but all in front or behind docks. If you can shoot under cables and get to the center areas that was the ticket.
Thanks Buckethead. I am pretty sure the whole Niangua arm warms faster than the much deeper Grandglaize so the Pre and Actual spawn usually come quite a bit earlier. I have a good feeling they are going to be on the Banks in 2-6 feet of water but I guess we will see.
Ill be be sure to post a fishing report on Sunday after I am done fishing this weekend.
Really slow right now at 4 mm near the dam. All this rain and storms have really muddied up the water. I’ll try in a day or two and then post up the results. Don’t worry about sitting on the edge of your seats awaiting my report?

If we did what was most important in life there
would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles
The Niangua arm is mud and you can almost walk across the lake in some places with all the floating debris. That will all work it's way towards the dam in a few days. I'm guessing fishing will be tough for a while.
