A lot more fishing than catching!!!
Got on the lake about 10am water temp was bout 48.5 at the Chiona landing ramp water very dingy there. Headed up the lake towards the river end water was muddy all the way up to island chute point area then cleared up some so we run up the to boat dock before the split and started fishing there
Water temp was 50.1 up there and cleared up water but the wind was really bad up there
12-18 mph gusts 20-25!!!
Pretty hard to fish it as slow as we needed to .

Ended up spider rigging in 13-25 fow 10-20 foot deep at times with double minnow rigs

Ended up catching 12 only 2 keepers
9 1/2 and 11” threw em back
The 11 was female belly big with eggs already

Got a pic of the 9 1/2 cause it was first of the year

But no pic of the 11 cause wind was blowing so hard couldn’t get my phone out of my bibs fast enough before we blew over a brush pile n hung 3 rods up !!!!

All in all a fun day on the water with dad
