Forgot to add that the color was black and pink. But they seem to want some scent so I added crappie nibblets and it worked better.
I finally got the new to me boat out and put it in the water for the first time today. Mainly took it to check out all the components and see if there were any issues. Thankfully it worked perfectly with no issues. But since I was there I might as well see if the fish were biting. They were! I only had two hours today but I caught 8 They were scattered in different depths. Fish suspended at about 10 foot in water anywhere from 13 to 25 feet. Some coves were not as muddy as others and I could actually see about a foot down. They were hitting it on the fall. One hit it at about a 5 count. It’s the one in the picture.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.Little Skeeter LIKED above post
