    Default Info on Windsor Crossing..

Looking on a little information about the Windsor Crossing area.. Never been there before, and I'm looking to start fishing the area this spring since it's alot closer to me now. Not looking for information on your spots or honey holes, was just wondering if it is a decent area to fish?

I have fished there twice with my daughter's father in law and did good both times.

Brush Creek, it's the first big creek on the left heading down lake from the bridge.

Brush creek has a stump in it that I have been hung up on twice in my years of fishing it. I don’t fishi it often enough so I only know about where it is and I have been stock on it for 30 minutes - twice. It’s for a fork in it that seems to cradle my boat so well that I get wedged in it!

    Just be careful.

I don't think you can beat Brush Creek during the spawn, go on back until you see the Brush Creek Lodge on the top of the bluff. Like stated above there are a lot of stumps especially at the mouth, it may look clear but it's not. I found the best way to get in there is to go next to the right bank until you hit the bluffs, you may hit a little mud but there's hardly any stumps there. I lost a stainless steel prop in that creek years ago, hit a stump and I guess my cotter pin broke and the nut and prop came off. bad day. lol
If you don't have a fish finder with GPS I would get one, it won't show you the stumps but it will help you finding the main channel.
