Might contact one of the guides out of bucksaw marina and ask.
20 years ago I had a great day of White Bass fishing on Bear Creek. The water was as clear as any Ozark stream. It most have been right before or after Turkey Season because I don't recall having a gun with me and it was warm.
They tell me that the White Bass runs in streams at Truman are unreliable. Some years they will run up a stream and some years not so much.
What is your experience and or advise?

we catch alot of them while crappie fishing on the upper end of Pomme Arm
The only thing the guides know how to do is catch hybrids on the lower end of the lake.
If you want to catch spawning White bass then head way on up the Sac.
The white bass run up the sac should be getting pretty hot soon, there r several places to park along the river that are either corp or conservation and completely legal to park at and walk along the bank or even launch a small boat...I know alot of people that do it and I've done it a few times my self
give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime
Most consistent opportunity for whites in the Truman area is below the dam during generation periods. Throw any color slider as long as it is white with a chartruse tail. Pinch about 2 rings off if using 3". Make sure you have good line because a hybrid or big walleye may take you for a ride.
red ranger LIKED above post
Not fished for them here in MO. But in Arkansas any good creek is a really good spot to start. Good luck.
