    Default Still Slow on Stockton?

Decided to try a new area this afternoon and put in at Crabtree around 3PM.

Fished every brush pile in the vicinity from 20-35ft, did not catch anything until almost 5, two keepers and one short.

Anyone else catching, or not catching?

At least the sunset was pretty.Name: 20190127_173805.jpg

I enjoyed the day yesterday even though the fish didn't bite. I was trying to figure out were the walleye hang out this time of year without any luck. We did catch one nice largemouth but that was it.

From what I've seen, one of the better techniques for walleyes this time of year is a spoon or jigging rap over deep water, underneath shad schools. Will catch a lot of whites and crappie as well.

There was no ice around last weekend. I'm guessing that's not the case after last night.

My cutoff is about 40*. After that the cold starts taking the fun out of it.

Supposed to be pretty decent this weekend, maybe I'll have a little better luck.
