Default Twain - Hard Water Report

After the Christmas chaos, Dad and I found a small window of time to get over to Twain on Sunday and see if the crappie were where Dad left them a week ago...... they were present and if our catches are any indication as to the quality of fish for this upcoming year, there's gonna be some fun had!

After we broke 1/2" ice to get to them, we single poled standing timber and had some fun. Warmest time of the day with the most sunshine was noon-3 and that's the time frame we fished.

Unfortunately, this latest round of rain will likely blow the lake up for a week or so...... she jumped ~5' after Monday's rain session.

Now I'm back up here in Wisconsin where we finally have good, fishable ice!

Doesn't matter anymore...........that lake and pattern is smoked for a while. It was at 607' when we fished it and it's currently at 613' and still rising.
