Thread: That was rough catching

Went to a local members lake and was rough catching Sunday. Water temp had dropped 9 degrees in 36 hours with the rain. Fish weren't happy. Water clarity was fine with the rain. Trolled and Casted for 5 hrs. Mostly trolling. Only had 3 keeper crappie. Maybe 6 dinks. We tried everything and every type of crappie lure or plastic we had. It seemed every time we changed we would get a bump but that would be it. Finally gave in and loaded up boat. Went to town got some fried chicken, taters and gravy, green beans, rolls and black walnut ice cream for dessert. Drowned our sorrows in food. Lol.i think the fish were mad because temp had dropped so much so quickly.
