    looks like good eating to me, there are a few on Table Rock, and Stockton lake, but hard to find, and when I do I don't tell where.

    Nice catch.Have not seen any of those around here in central kentucky for probably 40 yrs.I was a young boy when i last caught one.

    Caught one on the Tenn- Tombigbee Waterway and had no idea what it was . lol

    I have went last 2 winters to south Dakota ice fishing for yellow perch. Fun to catch and great to eat.

    No need to drive all the way to South Dakota (unless you want to) for them........we have them here in Wisconsin in spades.

    We go to the northeast part of south Dakota, usually fish north of Webster.

    It is funny most of those waters were duck sloughs you could wade across with chest waders when I was a kid. Now they are lakes with boat ramps and a few even have resort locations.
