Mark Twain Lake - 2018 Summer Gathering

Hey All,

As mentioned in previous threads, I'm headed to Twain for 3 days of cranking with pops and, in the spirit of the success of last year's gathering, we would again like to host. We will be there from the evening of Thursday, August 9 - Sunday, August 12. We generally fish early morning, pull out during the hottest part of the day, and then go back out for an afternoon/evening pull. This design also allows you to miss a majority of the "pleasure" boaters on a weekend.

We can plan on getting together at our place during the middle of the day on that Saturday, let's tentatively say from 11 - 3?

Feel free to pull your rigs with you and depending on the crowd we can talk about throwing something easy on the grill.....Dad and I talked last night and thought maybe we could offer up a bunch of Wisconsin brats, some burgers and a cooler full of Spotted Cows. If we get real aggressive, maybe fry up some chicken wings.

Let me know what you think and I'll start keeping headcount.

Looks like Paul Tony, and I will be there. Have a place at the windmill resort. If brats and burgers are the menu we will bring buns for both. Hope to see a good turnout. Thanks to you and your dad in advance. Will there be a meet and greet Friday nite?

I will be in TX watching my son get his pilot wings in the marrines. Sounds fun tho.

Awesome! There certainly can be a meet and greet however, guessing we'll be on the water late. Let's see everyone's plan and go from there.
