    Default Question about Truman.

I am thinking about going up and fishing the Crappie Masters tournament on the 18th of Aug. I've never fished it and am wondering if my boat will be sufficient for the lake. It's a Seaark 170sticksteer. 17', 50" bottom and a 40hp yamaha. Thanks for any info.

Plenty of boat. It's a fishing lake so not many pleasure boats up in the river arms. Just have a good map card and stay in the channels when on plane.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
