Thank you Speckeled Slab. The motor is a 1961 fastwin 18, only thing on the title for the boat is Utility for type, no make listed and it's a 1969, and the trailer is a 1971 TowMate...

Went to Wendy's to get dinner tonight as I didn't feel like cooking, and seen an old boat in the Cash Saver parking lot. I swung in and talked to the gentle man about his. It was an old Lund with a Johnson 20hp of about the same vintage as mine. Real nice set-up he had. As it turns out he lives about a 1/4 mile from me...

Don't forget the solid blocks of foam that fill the spaces under the seat boards. Flotation ya know. I rehabbed my first boat, a 16' Richline, 25 Evinrude. 1969.

The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

1969. I used blocks, cut to fit with mother-in-law's electric knife. She never knew.

If she ever reads this she'll know...any hoo, may I ask where you got the blocks, as I'm having a hard time finding any. Thought of making a mold out of wood about the size of my seats, line it with maybe some heavy plastic, and casting some 2 part expanding foam...just don't want it to stick to the wood...
