    Ouch. I've had that Marine JB Weld stuff on a crack on the bottom of my transom for four years but I hit a stump the other day and it's leaking again. Think I might try it again. Lol

    About how many years has it been since you checked stump hardness with the Merc 90 lower unit Ron ? We all thump em , but you seem to have rough luck...Hope you get it welded so the issue is behind you.

    There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
