    Default Friday night Date night

    On Smithville
Put in at W and started dipping brush and timber with only shorts willing to bite and man did they love Jinkos funky chicken. That was fun for a bit but we moved down to main lake and dipped some more brush with no bites.
So we put out the trolling rods and managed to find 5 that were around 10in and over [ 1 was 9 15/16 but the biggest was 11 1/2] for my Lunch today. They were in 15 to 20 fow suspended 10 - 15 fd.
And what a deference a week makes air temp around 70 and water temp down to 78.
Again chartreuse was the color. Cought several that were 8-9 in some just barely over. And one Nitro. It but up a good fight for a few minutes but finally broke my line and got away, it was kind of a ugly coler any how.

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it

Sounds like some good weather to be out, and to top it off you were able to get some keepers for lunch. Good post.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

Date night and lunch for the next day. That’s what I’m talking about.
