I won't lie, the water jumping up at Truman killed me Saturday! I had been whacking them since the ice left. Saturday as a whole different Oprah for me! I found fish, although much more scattered as the shad were as well. But those suckers has lockjaw and would absolutely NOT bite! Caught a few but it was pretty brutal! Definitely was an ego checker!
This is the Wheatland ramp at Pomme. Up about 8' I believe.
Caught a couple Sunday night. Fish were all over the place and couldn't pin down anything that would catch 'em consistently, caught 3 on various jigs.
Lake in the dam area was still clear, but muddy in otherwise.
They were catching some good ones at Truman spider rigging minnows. I would rather get skunked than to fish that way! That's just me.
