It's been tough with the weather and fluctuating water level. I haven't caught a keeper since early October.

Last I heard the crappie were deep. There's a report on ozarkanglers from today.

Welcome aboard. We have fished past couple weeks and have been finding fish in 14-18 ft on brush. Pull up state brush piles and give them a try. For me best color has been pumpkin seed and chart with a nibble. For my wife has been minnows. Others have been doing good with purple and chart. Hope this helps. Yesterday we was in about 20 ft brought 7 keepers home in just a few hours.

what day dreamer said, been catching limits on brush ,, a few sopts the fish were in 40 ft of water supended 18 ft from the top,,, purple charturse slab buster and mid south chartruse been working for me. C C is pretty good now on the bluff in deep water and up east of the C C bridge in the brush , buddy of mine caught some up turnback almost to the 160 bridge, water pretty shallow he took his flat bottom and trolling motor only,,, he had several in the 12 in range, minnows work on the bridge piers at C C , Also the bridge piers at twin bridges, ie Ruark Bluff, just move to each pier till you find the one holding fish, then fish real slow, most are just up off the bottom. Good luck, and welcome to C.D. C.
