Talking 9-1. What a night on the ville

Me, the wife and two kiddos got out on the lake around 6 ish tonight and fishing til 830. It was a great night on the lake. Very very few boats on the lake at all. A mild eastward wind the hole time. Oh yeah. And we came off with 34 fish. I haven't had a day of fishing like this in a long time.
All fish came off of 2 different brush piles. 20 feet of water. About 8 feet down. We probably caught more keepers then small fish combined. Almost every small fish was 8.5-8.75". But boy were they fat. Sorry. No pictures tonight

Forgot to mention. Minnow bite was decent. They preferred jigs, and just about any color. And sometimes tipping with a minnow seemed to help. It was nothing to drop down 4 times in a row and bring up 4 keepers

Nice evening with the family! And good eats to boot!!
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

Did a lot better than me. I didn't fish the brush piles I just jig stumps. Should have hit some piles. Good report.

    Nice job.
If we did what was most important in life there
