When I left LOZ on Wednesday, the main channel was muddy. In the backs of the creeks it's starting to clear. You could see a bait at about four inches in the last third of the creeks. My neighbor tells me that nothing has changed much. Channel is muddy, creeks are clearing in the backs. With Truman 23 feet high and only dropping about 6 inches per day, I'm guessing that this mess will continue until the fourth of July or longer. It should take at least another three weeks to begin to clear. Depending on the Corps and Ameren we may not see clearer water this summer. Watch out for debris!!! Logs and such everywhere. It's easy to spot in the morning, but with an afternoon chop on the water it almost disappears. BTW, I'm at the 61mm. Can't speak for the situation downstream. Good luck. Tight lines.
