Default First Time to Table Rock

Hello Crappie.com friends. A friend and I are heading to Table Rock Lake tomorrow, and we are going to fish with a buddy there for bass (I know it's not the preferred species! - trust me, I'd rather be crappie fishing). But, I thought many of you might be helpful in the bass fishing arena as well. We will be fishing more towards the west end of the lake. I've heard the lake has been really tough lately for bass. Any recommendations on lures, colors, where to look for them this time of the year on Table Rock, etc.?

Bring a package of Gary Yamamoto 4" single tail smoke (no flake) grub with 1/4 oz jig head. Also grab a pack of Strike King zero worms in a peanut butter and jelly color with a shakey head jig. You can cut the 6" fat worm down to 4" and it works better. Make sure to super glue the body to the jig. Top secret, don't tell anyone.
