    Default Smithville 11/07


    Put in around noon and fished for 3 hrs today....saw and caught quite a few short fish and even a few keepers. The fish seem to be just roaming around in bunches, so I got sort of close to a brushpile and tossed all around it, dipped into it, etc to catch them. All were in 15-20 fow and down 10-12' scattered.

    My buddy went bank fishing by w bridge. He said it was dink town. Lots of fish but a lot of smalls.

    Well I sure didn't get into a big bunch of giant fish like we dream about, but I had a really good time....beautiful weather...relatively low wind speeds for Smithville....and fish willing to bite on almost every cast.
