fished wap on friday in all the rain. not the best conditions but was catching them pretty good in 8-10 fow on flats. caught prob 30-40, 15 keeps and a catfish. went back sunday, beautiful day for fishing water levels jumped big time and clarity wasn't great. targeted same spots but trash was thick and water went from 8-10 up to 14-16. caught maybe 15 fish 6 keepers. had a buddy moved from where we were on sunday found beter fish in another area came home w 16 keepers. main lake was muddy w big debris like whole trees floating down. be careful if u have to cross it. jigs tipped w minnows fish hammered them friday, sunday they wanted to pick it up and drop it alot.
I am going down to the lake this weekend and was wondering with lake levels 10-12 feet above winter pool are you seeing the fish in the channels or on the flats,on the lower end of the lake or lost creek area or chaonia or otter creek or up in the river.Have never been down there in high water this early in the year.thanks
