Looks like the Conservation department is going to have a Fish Atttractor Maps (internet) to view.

You can select "Fish Attractor Maps" on the following page.....

    Fish Attractor Maps | MDC

It does appear they have some work to do, as I experienced some problems. However, it looks like they are going to list coordinates. They show query by lake name, which should make it easier to zoom in to the lake of interest.

This may be of some help for those who have gps in the depth finders. It may also be helpful to locate attractors using coordinates on I-phones.

I'm not sure where this all ends, but I located Conservation Department Boat Ramps............

I guess I haven't paid much attention to what the Conservation Department has been doing lately.

I have an I-phone. One of the options or apps available is the "app store". The few that I have downloaded have been free. mapquest, weather, google earth, gas buddy.

What type of phone do you have?

Ok...use your phone to link the following site. you can find this thread using your phone and click on the following. Then, you need to select the download for android.

Find MO Fish | Missouri Department of Conservation

I have no idea what happens then. However, if someone else doesn't help you, you should go to the store where you bought your phone and have them help you.

How To Install and Remove Applications on Google Android Phones

Sounds like you will go through Android Market

    How to Use Android Market

Here is the link that the Missouri android selection will take you to.....

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...f+Conservation

Click on install and you should be in business. Then, you may want to do some searches for other apps. do some searches as follows, then select the free app for download.

when you do the searches, click on the option to get only free apps.
Here's some....... mapquest, weather.com, gas buddy, google earth,

good luck. report back if you still need help.

I don't remember how long it took on my I-phone. I do know some of the downloads take several minutes. When I'm down at Pomme de Terre, it seems to take a lot longer to update an app. I just let my downloading go and wait for it to complete. I know some downloads seem to take forever. You have to think this is a fairly complex program. So, it will take several minutes to download. Just let it do it thing and download. If it says it is downloading, it is probably working........just wait for it to complete......relax.....
sorry for the late response. I was out of town. If you think there may be a problem in downloading the app, why not try to download a different one. I'm sure you will enjoy mapquest. It will take several minutes to download, but it is worth while. Like I said, just relax and let the downloading work......

hey beagle man, I was getting really concerned. Have your daughter download mapquest, gas buddy, weather.com, and maybe google earth. Mapquest comes in real handy. I'm sure your daughter can teach you how to use it. It's a navigation system where a gal will instruct you where to turn, etc. to get to a location you aren't familiar with. Of course, there are other options too. And, it's free..........good luck......I'm happy your daughter solved your problem. You may need her to help you learn how to use some of the apps. Have fun,
    Bob
