New to site
I just joined up last week and am glad to be associated with such a fine group of bull... or should I say "story tellers."
I usually fish Lakeview, Arkabutla, and used to fish Tunica alot before the flying fish took over. In fact I cut my teeth at Tunica as a kid 35 yrs or so ago. I like to fish for crappie the most, but if it swims and eats good, I will try to cath it. Y'all sound like my kinda folks. Hope to share some good stories with you all soon.

Hello to all! I am from Southaven, like fishing where ever they will bite, mostly Sardis and
Enid and some cut off. I work and fish with Feelay, so you know I like fishing. I also own
Sunsations Tanning salons, so tell all your wifes to go buy time so I can afford to fish!
I look forward to meeting everyone on the water.

New to crappie fishin
Howdy all!!
I am new to this forum and new to crappie fishing! I live in Brandon and plan to hit the Rez soon and hopefully a cooler full of crappie. As I stated before, I am new to crappie fishin, so any advice will be appreciated. I have no idea as to what the best type of jig to use and how to fish it, the only way I have caught them in the past is with minnows. I hope to get a lot of useful information from this forum.

Newbe at Crappie Crap
My name is James and I live in Hattiesburg. I've Crappie fished since I was a kid in Texas where I froze my a$$ off fishing the Eisenhour Marina boat slips on Lake Texoma in the winter time. Caught plenty of nice Crappies pond fishing in Missouri in the fall up there when I wasn't deer hunting and in the bature on the river over there in Louisiana. Been a Bass fisherman when I was younger but turned into mostly a coastal Louisiana Speckled-Trout/Redfish getter for the past 25 years. Started back to fishing Crappies hard 3 years ago when I attended my first Crappie Camp at Sardis. Burnt 'em good last year and have campsite #90 at Lower Lake laid on for the week after Easter. I've learned if I can't find 'em in the shallow water up in the twigs and structure on minnows I can pull off the dam using jigs. I've read enough on this forum over the past few days to realize that it aint just the Wanabe spreading poo round here so I figure I'm right at home talking Crappie Crap with the best of you. Come on,...tell me some lies and where to catch 'em.
