ditto . Only fishing down here a few days? every hook would have a minnow . Have always been told to let the fish tell you what they want . Have seen fish not bite a jig but never not a minnow . If they bite a jig the minnow will not turn them away . Been fishing Sardis all my life and am 66 . Never seen a guide without minnows unless pulling cranks . There is a reason . jmo

Thanks. I know the guide we have likes to use minnows. This information will also help to start with minnows when we’re on our own.

I'm sure you know about this, but you didn't say if you were fishing alone or with a partner. Just a reminder that you're limited to 4 rods per person at Sardis. You'll do great!

Thanks. I think I had seen that. I do have a partner. I am really looking forward to it. I think I also seen that Mississippi only offers a 3 day or annual license for non resident. Is that correct?

Get a annual license they good for a full year 60 something bucks and plan a spring trip to.
