    Default I'm back

Hi all, finally got back online. He's what's happened since then and now.
Shortly after our move my wife asked me to check her eye. I didn't see anything wrong with it. She said it was like a film over it. I carried her to the doctor. Said she had an eye attack or eye stroke. Optic nerve damage from high blood pressure. Had the valves in her heart rebuilt. Now she's blind in her right eye. She was drug free up until then, now takes a handful morning and night.
I had a spot come up on my forehead that kept growing. I could hardly let go of time to have it seen about with my wife's condition. It got over 2 inches in diameter and into my eyebrow. I called doctors starting at Christmas 2021, most that did surgery in the office said after new year's 2023. I got a call in May, can see you June 29th. They took a sample and had it tested, Basal cell cancer. We set August 24 to have it removed.
I made plans to drive down for Crankfest but things changed. I woke the middle of the night July 29, I couldn't stop coughing and it got worse, got hard to breath like my lungs weren't getting any air. I arrived at the ER with not much else than my driver's license and insurance card. A doctor in the lobby showed me the way back to a room. That's the last I remember until Sunday at 4:10 pm when I woke in ICU. I survived congestive heart failure. I spent 4 days in ICU then 2 days in a step down room. I had all kinds of test done to my heart and lungs, nothing found wrong. Got some light blockage in my legs. I was drug free up until that weekend. Now I take a handful morning and night.
I try to do all I can per day, my heart gets tired before I can finish.

    Thank you for your thoughts.
She didn't get a restriction on sodium as I did. Watching labels and cooking a new way, foods don't taste the same. I'm in the kitchen more, she will lose a spoon sitting on the counter in front of her. We tried biscuits a new way, half self rising and half plain flour, came out on the hard side. Frying foods with a flour coating she will turn the black top stove white. She gets mad if I help to much.

A month since I was in the hospital. Haven't seen a bill from them yet. My mailbox is full of bills from collection services, none show insurance applied for. I was on the phone most of yesterday with these services, none have my insurance information. Wait for new bills to be resent. Combined ER doctors and services $68,000. Wonder if they'll be happy with $100 per month.
