    Default tunica question

just curious, does anyone ever hear anything about tunica anymore in regard to crappie fishing. I fished it alot in my earlier days, but haven't been there in some time. use to be an awesome fishery. after that flood ten years ago or so I haven't been there but a few times. I never, NEVER, hear anyone talk about tunica anymore. I know the gar and carp got thick, but gotta still be some decent fishing SOMETIME?!
the view is better from the backroads

Used to bream fish the cut-off and Flower Lake . I understand the flower lake bait shop land was sold out to private . Haven't been to any of it in 15 yrs. or so .Was a good place till the Asian carp got caught behind the "new " weir .

There is still fish there. Don’t spider rig or pull cranks.

Have not fished this year but the last 3 years in June-August have caught good when the levels were below 15' and dropping. We pretty much had the lake to ourselves too! It's true there are lots of gar and carp but crappie can be caught with good numbers and decent size. With the higher river levels the last few years it didn't drop to good levels until summer but this year has been different. Sardis is 50 miles closer for me and with the fuel prices I have changed my fishing patterns. I'm like you and would love to hear some recent reports.
