Default Update on Grenada Lake Boat Ramps

Be there on next week 21st April, wondering what ramps are open, are they drawing the lake down?
    Has the spawn ended already?

    Thanks in advance

Lake level is 215 this morning with heavy rain, so it should come up. Spillway was closed yesterday, and it’s closed this morning. As far as I know, all ramps are useable at the moment, except maybe Skuna Turkey. I’m not sure about that one. The spawn is still on. Fish are still shallow. Caught females in 5ft Friday, males in less than 2.

If you go to gums, be careful around the bridge crossing. They are replacing the bridge and divers are in the water. Had a close call last week with a diver and and a fishing boat.

thanks a bunch for the info, found water levels online but they really don't tell everything so your info is very helpful.
The water temp data online is very contradicting, guess it depends on what area they took the data but usually don't say where.
Is it easier or better to access spawning areas by boat to wadding ????

Wading is easier right now because the fish are so shallow, but you can still catch ‘em out of a boat.

It depends on what boat you have too! Big glass boat will be tough to fish the shallows. Smaller aluminum boats thrive right now! But like he said they shallow right now livescope guys still catching em out in open waters too though!
