    Default Great December Day

Fished Grenada Saturday it was cloudy but absolutely no wind I can’t remember the last time I got to fish with no wind! Fish were holding in 13’-18’ of water and 6’-10’ deep. There were more boats out yesterday than I have seen in December ever! But with a day like that I can blame them! Name: IMG_6155.jpg

Some day I’ll be brave and hit Grenada. Looks like you had an awesome day.

I guess never fishing the reservoirs has me gun shy of them because I don’t “know” them. I’ll hit the Miss river in a heartbeat in my pro17/40hp. That same boat doesn’t “feel” big enough for the big 4. I have fished Enid at Wallace creek a couple times and from Chickasaw campground.

If you feel safe with that boat in the ms river you should feel fine in any of the big lakes haha I have only been in the river a couple times and I just don’t like it haha

You will be fine with that boat. I duck hunted the Ms river and fished Grenada for 40 years in a 14/36 flat bottom and never got into trouble. Just watch the weather and get off if you see something coming before it gets bad.
