You will be fine with that boat. I duck hunted the Ms river and fished Grenada for 40 years in a 14/36 flat bottom and never got into trouble. Just watch the weather and get off if you see something coming before it gets bad.
Yea I know but coming the delta oxbows it feels like the Great Lakes. Plus I getting far enough I can’t swim to shore. Kinda like gettin a new pole or boat just got use it to learn and get a feel for it.
