curious if anyone uses any type of quick attach swivel or fast attach hardware for their trolling baits. never used them and asking for reviews.

I pretie my rigs with a barrel swivel at the top and use a snap swivel on the main line. Makes changes a little quicker.

Amazingly, 95% of this I have to break off break between the weight and the barrel swivel. Haven’t noticed anything negative on the setup.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

I had not used them for trolling. I have used then for shooting docks. I had some of the smallest I could find. I had one straighten out on a big catfish. I got it to the side of the boat and on it's last run it pulled loose. I was using braid otherwise it would have broken the line limg before straightening the quick clip

this is what i am referring to. slow trolling. quick change out of jigs, hooks, gnats. i see several devices for this and was wondering if there was ever a problem with them......hooks coming off unintended, affecting motion of the bait, etc.

I tried the FastKnot style, a C shape, and didn’t care for it. They make corkscrew types and I prefer those. They are far more secure and strong. The trick is to get small ones and get good at undoing and redoing jigs without the glasses. I hold the clip in my left hand, jig in right, and I know I rotate the jig towards me to undo, and away from me to attach. They will hold big fish no problem and add very little to the presentation.
Maybe they will bite this one……

For spider rigging I use a locking snap swivel on my main line which is 10 lb. hi-viz mono. I tie my own double hook rigs with a 3 way swivel at the top and use 6 lb. mono for the rigs. May not work for everyone but works good for me.

I haven’t had any come off yet even caught a couple fish on just the snap the hook wasn’t even in the fish. The only issue I have had is sometimes the snap will flip down and get hung on the under side of the jig eye and it will make the jig sit all funky
