This has been similar to what I’ve experienced at Sardis for the last few weeks. I really wonder if Livescope is a factor.

Could be... I’m anti livescope anyway! I go fishing to get away from looking at a screen all day! I’m not going to sit in my boat and stare at one all day! It’s s heck of a way to win at tournaments but doesn’t look fun at all!

Perhaps you are right about this. Another thing that's different about Sardis this year is the water level during the spawn. From 2018 thru 2020 the water level was way high during spawn and trollers had trouble catching good numbers. This year we caught lots of big fish trolling before the lake jumped up to 265 level. Parking lots at Holiday, Hurricane and Coontown were often filled and lots and lots of keeper fish were removed during March and early April. Keepers were plentiful after spawn and throughout summer in 2018 thru 2020. I think it will be different this year.

That may be. By the time I got all of my post-duck season chores and a couple of work trips done and was ready to fish, I had missed the fun.

I completely agree with that. It would definitely take away from the experience for me to stare at a screen all day.

Lol, been saying that for years. Give them a year or two, and they will be keepers. Hasn’t happened yet. The short to keeper ratio at Enid has been ridiculous for years!

Those biologists should know you can't stockpile wildlife.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.
