    Default Missing a friend.

For those who love crappie fishing the spring spawn is always special. For the weekend warriors it can be a hit or miss proposition. A couple of days to fish and back to work. I paid my dues and now have all the time I want to fish. I’ve been going to Mississippi to fish for the last 25 years. You see, my best friend moved back home from Nashville to Water Valley and invited me down. We had some good weekends and some bad but always the friendship. We were excited when we both retired and now we could go when they were biting. I will be coming down the first week of April to fish all week. My friend John Carlisile won’t be with me. We lost John to COVID-19 back in September. I have lots of mixed emotions about this trip. It’s one me and John dreamed of for years. I’ll be thinking about you John.

I know exactly how you feel, I lost my fishing partner 8 years ago. Hang tight to the memories and in time you will be smiling when you remember your friend John!!

Sorry for your loss of a great friend. I lost a close friend 10yrs ago. Him and I had hunted and fished many seasons, he was only 59. Gone way too soon.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

I know how you feel I lost a good friend of 45 years last week.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Sorry for the loss of your friend. Memories are just one of God’s ways to help us deal with the loss of a loved one. May you have a safe successful memory filled trip in April.
