Cool video. Thanks for sharing! I wonder if Mr Jeremy would share what brand and size jighead he was using?

1/32 with a 1/0 nickel mustad hook. Works good on tough bite. No skirt

Thanks. I’m not a livescoper yet . Going to single hook on my spider rigs . I like the rig you had on video. Simple, and the ability to slide weight down with rod tip when hung up as you mentioned is brilliant!

I convinced myself a long long time ago that a sliding weight was worth the trouble in tying a lot of extra knots. You will get a few seconds more before they smell a rat and spit the hook when multi pole fishing. The bobber stop is easier and quicker than a barrel swivel plus if your not double rigging you can get unhung most times.

I like the idea . I personally think the double hook rigs are overrated. We hang up a lot and usually break off with the double hook rig . I grew up singlepoling . Only started trolling about 10 years ago so , 8 hooks on 8 poles is probably plenty for my crew anyhow. I’m having trouble finding that brand jighead. Saw a Kenny Custom jig on Facebook, but no activity in several years . Is he still doing them ?
