All I’m carrying is longline tackle. Rickie will want to push jigs off the bow so he can play with all the electronics. Jere and I will longline and maybe run OR38 boards if the crowds allow me to.
I’ve got to work the Murray Boat Show the weekend you will be down there. My boat will be in the show so as soon as I can get it out of the CFSB Center on Sunday afternoon, I’ll load tackle in it and we’ll probably leave Benton around 3AM. GPS says it’s about 6 hour drive.

I’d pull everything out of boat, but if we have to drive straight down then we would.
Batesville, MS has the Comfort Inn and Fairfield Inn that I’ve stayed multiple times without any issues.

As said Batesville is a good choice and no to Clarksdale or Greenville. If Cleveland, stay at one on the north side of town or downtown.

Had a great time at Lake Washington, we had two pretty good days of fishing by our standards (low). Caught 90% of our fish within 400 yards of the same spot. The wind on Saturday beat us up pretty good, so we decided to come on home early. We thought we'd get close to our limit, then every day at noon the fish would almost completely stop biting and we'd struggle to pick up 5 fish from noon-5pm. Roy's #2 was a nice clean place, refrigerator went out but they quickly brought us another one. Was able to leave the boat in the water overnight, which was super nice. It was a 6HR drive for us, but I'd go back tomorrow if I could, I'd just stay longer than 3 days!
