    Default Sardis Lower Lake

Coming down first week of March. I know the wind is a crap shoot, so I’m wondering if anyone is catching fish in the lower lake when winds prevent fishing main lake? I know it holds some nice fish!

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

When they're pulling water from Upper Lake thru spillway the water level in Lower Lake is higher than weir and fish can swim over it and into river. I believe that's what happens to most of those small crappie we leave in there every Spring.

I keep asking....but how does one tell the difference in fish on a Livescope or any other electronic device?

Hours hours and more hours looking at livescope. I'm not saying you can tell what every fish you see is but with time you become able to distinguish between certain species and when you get it dialed in you can see more details. Also knowing certain fish behaviors helps determine what a certain fish may be.

Live scope is real time and very high definition so I can definitely see the ability to determine a pan fish from a non-panfish. And I’m sure with time you can develop the skill to distinguish different panfish from each other.
