I agree with several who have already commented that many factors scare the fish. I have witnessed fish be spooky after much pressure on them. I for one cant see myself fishing without livescope. It keeps me from fishing miles of unproductive water. One of the biggest challenges I have had was determining whether I am looking at crappie or white bass. There are times when it seems to more helpful than others. Warning! Livescope can be addictive.

Thanks for all of the comments. I had pretty much made my mind up to get one and your comments have sealed the deal. My biggest concern is running into someones boat because I can't take my eyes off of the screen. Thanks again

I never, ever, if at all possible troll into the wind. I think fish will face into a wind. and a drift sock is your best friend!!

Or a chain either one, but completely agree on trying to avoid trolling into the wind if at all possible.
