    Default Fishing on Grenada Lake

Looking to make a trip to Grenada Lake in the next few days, just checking to see how the bite is this week and see what the most effective way is to catch crappie this time of year?

    Thanks in Advance.

Thanks, Does that affect the bite very much when it gets low? Never been there when it was low.

Looks to me that nobody's talking, that means the fish are biting, me and six more boats will be there Wednesday to fish thru Monday, we never been there but we were told to look for the boats and get in there with them.

If it’s real low better watch where you go ! Standing trees everywhere !
im sure they are fish to be caught but you will be limited to where you can put in at ! Good luck on your trip and let us know how it goes! Never been in the fall hope to go in the spring !

There ant been many reports on any of the big four lately... nothing to do with the bite

This is horrible advice. And part of the reason why locals are somewhat reluctant to welcome out of state fishermen. The best option is to respect the space of your fellow fishermen.

Call the Corps office and get info, the winter draw down at the big four is ahead of last year. There are fish being caught there. Good luck.

Went yesterday and got 5 keepers. Bite was slow. Spider rigging in 12 ft. Water about 7 ft. Deep. Catch a few and people will come to you. Even had a couple of guides get to close.

Thanks for all the replies. I am going to head up that way tomorrow and give it a try for a couple days.
