Ultrex Question

I just bought a boat to replace my old one that was totaled out by insurance company from accident at Horseshoe a couple of weeks ago. I plan to put an Ultrex on it. Does the Ultrex self deploy from remote? I remember seeing that feature in commercials but looking at published description on the unit doesn't mention this feature.

I believe the ultrerra is self deploying. The ultrex is a pretty awesome trolling motor

I think I'm seeing that an Ulterra is and "Ultrex" with self deploy. Is that correct? I'm getting old and not having to lift the motor will come in handy.

Ulterra is self deploy
Ultrex is hand deploy just like all foot control motors

They appear to be identical in functionality with only difference being the deploy method (I think). Maybe Ulterra is remote only with no foot control?

I think Ultera does have foot control...most guys just use the the remote though.I could be wrong....do not take my word on this...I have a horse in and out Ultrex

I checked website and yes ulterra does come with a foot pedal...

The ulterra Is self deploy! Makes unloading by you self a breeze ! Just always be sure to turn your power on to the remote and the trolling motor and connect the two before you launch !
the Ultrex no.

I use my foot pad and remote together quite often ! Especially if both hands are tied up and I need to turn Etc!

Ultrex is power steering foot control pedal (that cannot be disconnected) - which drives electric steering servo motors ... (also can be used with remote control) - manual deploy and stow ... Advantage is users that are used to foot control cable steer with the added features of spotlock and cruise ...

Pedals for each are different design ...
