    Default Pushing Cranks

I have pulled cranks in the past, but am interested in pushing them. If I use a 3 oz weight and 4' of line below it to tie onto the crankbait, will that work well? Is pushing more/less effective than pulling? I would think it would be easier to turn around pushing them, plus the rods are all in front of you, easier to watch from my drivers seat. I posted this in the Pulling Cranks thread but got no response yet.
