    Default Pickwick

Headed to Pickwick this weekend with the in-laws. So I’m definitely taking my boat to get away from them!!! Their place is at Bear Creek. I’ve never fished there and know nothing about it. Can any crappie be caught in that area of the lake??? Sure appreciate it!!

Try shooting docks or longlineing jigs.

Hey Josh, I fished there a few years ago, I fished Bear Creak pulling Cranks. Got some decent fish, just had to search for em. I couldn't tell you where to start though. We just left the ramp, got out into the main water and let them go. Got ran off by a storm, and didn't get to go back. But if i do ever go back, I will be on those DOCKS!

I’m headed there tomorrow and maybe Saturday to pull cranks that’s one of my homes crappie lakes. We’ve caught some nice fish there this year pulling jigs but it’s crank time now the guy’s I’ve talked to have been doing pretty decent. I put in at Rose Trail and fish towards Hwy. 72 mostly around airplane hollow, aurora springs and over on the Mississippi side around mill creek. I’ll be in a center console black Ranger boat holler at me if you see me and good luck.

I did the best fishing a jig under piers. Their were a couple boats pulling cranks, and I did talk to one guy that stroked em. He had some real nice ones, and all of mine were in the 11-12 inch range. I’m going back in mid July and gonna pull cranks only.
