Default New Here Question on Sardis Lake hotspot reception

I know LTE reception is spotty. What about your hotspot reception?
AT&T? Verizon? certain areas with good reception? Thanks for the input!

I know ATT is weird there ....some locations you can just move 10 ft and get it or lose it.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I have Verizon and it works great there. I fished several spots there today and my Pandora radio never stopped.

I'm with AT&T and I don't have any trouble in the camp grounds. But weird is the word. One day at 9:30 am my fishing partner was talking to his wife and his
phone went dead and wouldn't turn back on. I handed him my phone and told him to use it. Mine was dead also. Armyman was on the lake somewhere and
when I saw him, I told him what had happened. He said his Helix shut down at the same time. I don't have a clue. We were on Enid.

Glad you joined us, welcome aboard.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

i bet Sardis has several "bermuda triangles". i plan on using a headset to field work calls and stream spotify most importantly.

Good luck on Sardis with AT&T. Their coverage is really bad and spotty. It seems to be really bad on weekends. I have to move to certain spots on the lake to return important calls. Often wondered if it's a bandwidth issue. At my Father-in-Laws house on Sardis Lake Road, I can get reception in the back bedroom but nowhere else in the house. I can go outside by that same bedroom and no reception. Verizon is good there..

Pulling cranks or power trolling are best techniques there if you have AT&T. The faster you move the more likely to find a spot with reception. But you gotta talk or text fast before you lose it.
