    8 pound test is some thick line. I donít know how Iím going to fish with it.

    Go with the copolymer line, easy to tie and throws very well. I use Kast King. Oh yes- strong knots.

    I use 8# braid with 8# fluro leader. Mines not very thick, Berkely Vanish. I gave up
    trying to cast fluro on small spinning reels long time ago.
    That's a misprint on the label, just caught that.

    What size reel do you have!? Can you cast past your boat? LOL

    I canít cast it 6 inches. But it works great as a drag chain.
