Default Road To The Badlands Closed

The "Badlands" of Grenada Lake have just gotten harder to reach. The Graysport Bridge has been scheduled to be replaced for a while now but the project had not started. Yesterday high water and strong west winds washed out the bank on one end of the bridge and a huge crack between the first and second section of the bridge widened resulting in the bridge being closed. EZ and ScottV gonna need a new map!!!!

Do you mean the bridge between Greysport and North Greysport? A bass boat would have a hard time getting under the bridge.

Covid 19 shut down the work on the one at Enid when they closed the parks. Hopefully when the back to work order is instated they can go back to work. The
parks are still looking at July 1st as of now.

With a camp at Gore Springs, E Z and I could launch at Sardis as fast as going to North Graysport, Youngs, Choctaw, or Turkey Skuna landings. Hopefully South Graysport will be open when the flood is over.

Feel very sorry for all the Badland Residents. Can't imagine how long the bus ride will be for the kids or how long someone may have to wait for an ambulance, fire truck or police. Who cares about the inconvenience to us minnow chuckers. My prayers to the residents. I hope whoever neglected to keep up with maintenance or did not have the fore thought to consider this could happen is reminded at the ballot box.

Y’all just lucky I ain’t in charge. I’d have road blocks and check points to keep out the riff raff.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Yep, a world of trailer trash around the big 4. I know it for a fact. I'm one of them.
