    Default When reading the reservoir water levels....


    which one lets you know how much water is actually coming through the spillway?
    There is a gate flow reading.
    There is an inflow reading.
    There is a spillway flow reading.
    I’m assuming it’s the spillway flow reading,but, would love to hear from some of y’all that actually know how to read that thing......

    So, what is a spillway flow?
    If gate flow is telling us how much water is being released through the spillway, what does the spillway flow record?

    I thought that was emergency spillway flow. If it tops over. Might be wrong.

    I think spillway flow is the amount of water that is flowing downstream, measured in cubic feet per second (cfs). A very complicated formula is used to calculate this. I will post an example below.
