    Default This weekend?

Did anyone fish one of the four this weekend? Saw too many different opinions on if they were closed or not to try it. I just fished a TN state lake, all of ours are open. We’re on a rotation at work right now. “Work from home “ This weekend? this week, then at the office Monday-Wednesday next week. I have plenty time on my hands.

I’m sure there were some fish caught. I fished Grenada for a few hours Sat. Redgrass, Knight creek, couple other secondary creeks. Caught 2. Very humbling. Talked to a bunch of people, wading, jigging, trolling, wasn’t a lot going on. I fished deep, shallow, timber, ironwoods, willows, etc. Maybe the ticket is getting further East right now. Water was about 65. Very high. Very high. Oh it was also very high.

Success on high water levels is you get out what you put in. You got to pound out areas that you don’t want to get into but that’s what it takes. Not easy fishing but it pays off. Snakes are out now in full force got to shoot your way in and shoot your way out. Most folks are getting 2-4 fish daily. Some are limiting out in 2 hours.
