I'm sorry about that last post. I shouldn't have snapped back like that. Sorry I let that one fly before I thought it through.

It isn't the ones that are "scared of the virus" that are the danger to society. The danger to society are all the people who think they are bullet proof. Best data now indicates that about 25 percent of people infected are asymptomatic. It is that bunch that are spreading it from community to community.

I’m sure you made more of a dent than is apparent. Thanks for posting.

I hate to agree but as I was fishing yesterday I observed a boat with three grown men in it and a guide boat with two men in the front and a guy standing against them behind them changing Out Bates and things so can't tell me that they're keeping their 6ft distance

I hate wearing a seat belt and I don't like the government telling me that I have to. I wear one because it's the law and it saves lives. I've never gotten bent out of shape at anyone trying to help me, my family, friends and acquaintances stay alive. I would never get over passing the Covid 19 to someone and it cost them
or one of their children their life.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

These are difficult times for all of us. Just remember why this is being done....do your part to keep those around you, and your friends and neighbors safe. Never before have you had a chance to help so many by doing so little.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    Governor Reeves,
As an avid outdoorsman I ask you to reconsider the closure of lakes and rivers in your executive order. While walking trails are left open in which most trails are not wide enough for people to pass each other without coming within 6 feet of each other, the lakes and rivers allow people unlimited distance between each other. During this time families are able to spend time together and fishing is a large part of many Mississippi residents pass time. As long as social distancing is maintained and no large groups gather the lakes and rivers should remain open in my humble opinion. I’ve fished many times in the last two weeks without observing large groups of people gathering, it seems as if the general public, especially outdoorsmen, observe the 6 feet guidelines set forth by the CDC. In closing, once again, I ask you to reconsider the closing of the lakes and rivers.
    Sincerely,

I sent an email and forwarded mine to 10 of my friends who like to fish. Maybe we can cover the Governor up with respectful emails by spreading the word.
