I been told what to do for the Americans people as long as I can remember. Did I get to fish those tours. NO! I did what was asked and did the best I could to get by for the American people back here to be able to damn fish. Most of the ones complaining about stay at home order and chilling out on traveling and fishing are the same ones that want to just wear the lakes out daily, getting the limit more times than you can count . Probably got enough fish to feed 100 for weeks. Lol. Fishing will always be here for us and holding off for a little while will make it that much better we we get back to it. It’s something we have to work through and help one another out though out this. But one thing about it, it is very serious and should be taken serious. It’s just not Gov Reeves saying, Oh! We don’t need to let the fishermen fish. Just think? Use good hygiene and Prey everyday that this country holds strong through these hard times as she has done many other times. It's called sacrifice, evidently a misunderstood concept today, but you've got it!
    Thanks for your post

Yep, that's pretty much the norm now. Our country is being spun into the greatest economic crisis that we've seen in almost 100 years and questions aren't allowed. I will stay out of it from now on, the damage has been done to so many already thru the loss of jobs and the unemployment rate is still soaring. Guess if we all live we can talk about it in June. Meant no disrespect to anyone, just frustrated with the whole situation as I'm sure most are. Good luck, stay safe I reckon.

Snubby I sent you a PM with my cell phone number. Feel free to call me anytime to talk. Again, I didn't post anything to stir up fear or anger. Just trying to get information out to people who enjoy the same things in life as myself and live in my state. Trying to protect each other at this time is what's most important. But again, I'm sorry if I've stirred up a fight. That was not my intention. I'll look forward to getting to talk to you soon. Thanks

    Hey Snubby,
I feel indebted to you as you have been kind enough to answer a couple questions for me in the past.I also absolutely hate what the Covid-19 pandemic has done to our country, economy, and way of life.It is terrible.I would much rather be tied to a tree and beaten with a whip for hours than be told I cannot go fishin in the spring.
The trouble is there is a lot unknown about Covid-19.Just a few things we do know is over a million people worldwide have been infected, the symptoms are not the same with different people, not all people even display any symptoms,in some patients death can happen quickly, the pandemic has and will continue to spread,US deaths have surpassed 7,000(over 1,000 yesterday),and more and more pitiful news.
There has been quite a bit of misinformation about the pandemic.Seems to me that has caused a myriad of problems.
Anyway this whole situation is lousy.
As much as I do not like any "shelter-in place" orders they are a requirement to minimize more fatalities now and in the future.
There are NO guarantees any thing is going to improve any time soon. There is much unknown about Covid-19.
We can pray for a successful vaccine but it at best it is going to take time.
My final comment is I feel completely obligated to "shelter in place "to save lives. It is the one small thing I can do to help.

Snubby, I appreciate your frustration, and you are correct, we all feel it. However, every healthcare professional every day puts their life on the line, not knowing what the next patient is potentially carrying from a disease standpoint. They must depend on their education, training, and the grace of God. Now is the time to offer support, encouragement and prayers for them. I am sure you meant no disrespect.

PM received, I will give you a ring later. At the office trying to catch up on paperwork this morning. Going to take the two man boat out this afternoon and launch it in a ditch somewhere. Solo of course and it will only be me and the trees and buck brush, of course I may risk breaking social distancing with the cottonmouths and a few crappie hopefully!

I know your not trying to stir up panic or unjust fear and or anger. I appreciate your input as well and any others in the medical field. I understand completely this is a new virus with a lot of uncertainties left to be seen. I hate that anyone gets sick or dies from this terrible virus. When every death makes a national headline I think folks tend to panic, the media sure enjoys a good crisis it's great for ratings.

As I said we will all know more in another month or two, I hope this thing levels off and starts to decline in new cases soon. The economy will not be so lucky, I think we will see a lot of suffering for months or even years to come. I do not know one person personally who has covid 19, I can name off a dozen who are out of work and feeling utter dread, despair and uncertainty though. Victims on all sides of this thing. I just don't see why I can go to work everyday, but then I am looked at as being selfish cause I want to go take my boat out alone and try to catch a fish. Anyway, that is where this thing started was trampling rights to fishing and it became a much bigger discussion in the end. I try my best to stay away from folks, I won't even go see my parents or older friends for their own safety. Heck, I even did online grocery shopping yesterday.

I don't want to get anyone sick and vice versa. I ask my guys that work for me everyday if they are still comfortable going to work everyday and the answer is a resounding yes. I appreciate what you good men and women are doing on the healthcare side of things. I tell everyone I think their are many unsung heroes out there now making selfless sacrifices to benefit the people in need. No offense intended, just get worked up a bit every now and again
