Default ACT Championship Sardis Lake Postponed

Just read on Facebook the championship has been postponed. Permits were pulled and new dates are June 4th thru 6th. I wasn't fishing it, but I know alot were looking forward to it. Just hope they don't start closing ramps!

I just about guarantee they close the ramps. It’s federal. Campgrounds for sure.

Louisville District closed today. I figure the others will follow suit.

Ramps are still open. No campgrounds or picnic areas. (Louisville district)

Most of the ramps were “closed” all of last year. They bagged the pay boxes and said be careful if you put in.

Worried that the 6 foot interval would be violated.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

wow. the lake would be one of the best placed to be. not saying a tournament, but in general just going fishing. key is to eliminate crowds. they're saying keep it less than 10 now. i get canceling a tournament but not closing a ramp.

Well it does belong to the federal government, and they don’t always make good decisions.

In 93’ ,when the government shutdown during duck season, they closed all the national wildlife refuges. They blocked the road with barricades. We just drove around them lol.
