10-15 mph winds today no go for upper. Spillway been shutoff all week so lower might not be good either. Better than working though.

If the spillway is off, the bite on the lower will be also. At least that's been my experience

Yeah, the bite is really tough with no spillway flow and the lower lake level has dropped about 5 feet since they closed the gates. With all the flooding down south gates may stay closed for awhile on all four reservoirs.

Yes I have hurricane road and parking lots are very nice. They still need to work on gravel road to Indian mound but not this year. Went down there yesterday and the road between ramps is almost over water. It’s probably over today with the 4” rise it made today.

So we got there about 8 am fished till almost 4. Kept 4 plus one catfish. Very slow light bite. They were shallow. Somewhere around 6 ft in anywhere from 12-20 ft water. It was very odd. Thanks to the guys in the bass tracker from TN with battery problems for turning me on to the shallow bite. Or else we would’ve drug around deeper all day probably. Still beat work.

You got enough for supper and that’s all that matters. 4-5 fish is my personal limit. Enough for a quart bag and doesn’t take long to clean them.

Lake is touching the road between ramps at hurricane should be on it tommorow they built it up a bit so another 6” rise and it should be on it good.
