Default Guide for the big 3

I am looking to make a trip down to fish Enid, Sardis, Grenada and am looking for recommendations on a guide. I am thinking of making the trip in late March or first week of April, is this a descent time? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Call John Beshears (Rees Guide) here on Crappie.com. You won't regret going
out with him. He works hard to keep you on fish. His phone number is (662)458-8925
Time of year is good, but beware of spring rains!

The three you mentioned are great lakes, but don’t discount Arkabutla! If you have a day to hit it, I don’t think you’ll regret it! Second the recommendation of John Beshears, also Carl Painter or Warren Cotton!

    Carl Painter or John Woods
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

Thanks for the advice. We have booked a guide. Now a follow up question, we like to fish minnows and jigs any recommendations on what color jigs to use? We fish Truman Lake in MO frequently and have the usual colors in the tackle box, red/Chart, black/chart, white, bluegrass, ice blue. Is there any color/colors that work well in north Mississippi?

Your guide will provide all equipment with the colors they are biting.

We have a guide for one day and then we will be fishing by ourselves so I was going to pick up some lures prior to getting there and have them on hand.
